Spotlight

Central Market of Kinshasa (DRC)

The Central Market of Kinshasa, also known as "Zando," was established in 1943 as the principal trading hub of Kinshasa. Over time, its capacity became insufficient, and its operationaland safety conditions deteriorated significantly.

Mansa supported the local project sponsor with key development activities. Our contribution enabled the structuring and development of a competitive and bankable project, elevating it to high standards in terms design, contractual structuring, risk management, and financing. The market is under construction. The construction of the new market is currently underway.

  • Concession contract negotiation with Kinshasa city authorities

  • Project development management (recruitment of engineering firms, monitoring of design and engineering studies, EPC tendering)

  • Financial modeling, debt structuring and raising
