Raison d'être

The African continent is experiencing an unprecedented demand for infrastructure investments, estimated at around $150 billion per year by the African Development Bank. This demand is driven by urbanization, industrialization, and population growth. Internal population movements, the rise of a middle-class consumer base, and the need to address social inequalities are pressing African countries to meet increasing needs in mobility, energy production and distribution, telecommunications, water access, and waste management.

However, while the continent's economic growth is strengthening public resources and attracting more and more private capital, Africa is struggling to close its infrastructure gap.

We have learned from our experience as engineers and investors within international groups and funds that the challenge extends beyond financial mobilization; a critical barrier is the dearth of projects that are well planned and prepared.

Governments often lack the capacity to translate their needs into actionable plans and concrete projects, while local and international private entities have yet to develop thorough project development expertise tailored to the African continent.

Mansa Infrastructure Partners aims to bridge this gap by offering specialized knowledge and innovative methods for designing, structuring and financing impactful and sustainable infrastructure, leveraging in particular our deep understanding of the continent's unique institutional, regulatory, social and political landscapes.
